New Beads today!!!

I have new sets up today! Yeah!!! What a great end to a very productive week! Believe it or not I have some great things in store, I ordered components to complete the Agate necklace I’ve been working on and will be finished with them soon. The kids are going to spend some time with their grandparents before we head south to go “Treasure Hunting”. They are totally excited about their journey! I’ll share more about it next week, in the meanwhile though, I’ll be able to catch up on some long overdue projects and hopefully, I say hopefully (knock on wood) get that website makeover that seems to be dragging along.

The beads I have up today were all inspired by something….fabric, capris, a picture in a magazine and a fashion trend. I hope you find something you like! Yes, I made a bracelet for a very nice lady on Etsy that purchased a set of beads. It turned out beautifully and since then I’ve had inquiries to make more. I will offer an option in the very near future (like 2 weeks) to purchase the set of beads you’d like designed and then a “Design me a Bracelet” option to have it made into the actual bracelet. I’m pounding out the details of it all and will let you know when it’s available. It will be on a trial basis of course, and I’ll only offer a limited amount each month….just not enough time here!

I’m working on beads all weekend and will be sending a new shipment home with dad to take and drop off at the bead store. I’m still trying to put together a class project for the bead store and will hopefully have something finished while the kids are gone. It’s so hard to work on something like that when they are here. Right now, as I type, I have seven children in my living room watching “BOLT”…not one peep can be heard…now that’s amazing!

Ok…I’m off to make the kiddo’s popcorn!!

Once again you've outdone yourself girl! I can't wait to see them. Stace touched down in Honolulu last night and of course the first day it storms like crazy and the pool is full of tree leaves and junk. Just my luck, oh well, that's what they make those cleaning tools for. Have fun this weekend. I love the Capri colors you chose, I'll have to start saving my fabric swatches from our quilting for you. Also, I have a few little goodies for you, but I'm not gonna tell. heeheehee.

What's the story on those very cool looking Palm Beach cookies in the photos above??? Those are fantastic...who made 'em and where do I get some?

RockerJewlz: The cookies are offered over the Christmas holidays at Lilly Pulitzer's web site! I printed out the picture thinking they'd make great beads for the Summer!

Ya know they are coming out with a line of cookie cutters if they haven't already!
